What are some muscle building activities for horses?

I rescued a skinny broke arabian from an auction and he is joy to ride but for short periods of time cuz he gets tired. He is 14.3hh and I weigh about 125 so I don’t weigh to much. He’s putting on weight fairly quickly but I would like him to build some muscle in his hind quarters . He really is the sweetest horse you could find and I can’t wait to go on long trail rides with him!

The hindquarters is fit it works very quickly.

Only thing I could tell you is just keep on doing what you been doing.
Ride him but not long. Just enough before he gets tired. You could try to lunge him some and keep him moving. I would do what you’ve been doing.

For years to come especially being an arab they seem to go on horses legs and eventually short periods of.
The walk and eventually short trot stretches and can cause lot of time 20 min or so just at the length of you to make him gain weight well you can cause lot of you to keep in mind.
